Rice NetID Network Accounts

Many electronic resources at Rice, including the GSA website, require a Rice NetID for authentication. The most notable exceptions are Esther, the course and personnel management system, and the Library. Most often, you will use your NetID for email and computer use on campus

To setup your NetID, as well as your email account and possibly a VPN account, go to:

http://apply.rice.edu

Click on 'Account Application - New User' and follow the instructions from there.

Once your accounts are setup, you can come back to this site to manage your NetID and other computer accounts.
