Would you like more information on opportunities for short-term graduate research internships in Japan?  Would you also like to know about fellowships and other funding opportunities to support your research in Japan?  If so then this is the ideal session for you!

A panel of Rice University graduate students will share information on their experiences doing research in Japan through programs such as the NSF East Asia Pacific Summer Institute and funding from their host university.  You will also hear from representatives from Hokkaido University's Center for Engineering Education Development (CEED) on funding opportunities available for research internships at their university.  Information will also be provided on funding available through the Japanese Government Scholarship programs.
