Congratulations to the GSA!

Our Graduate Student Association was recently recognized by NAGPS - the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students - for our registration and participation in GradShare. GradShare is an online community that was developed to help students succeed in graduate school by providing a central location to ask questions and get advice on various topics pertaining to graduate school. Covered issues include everything from questions/advice about grad school life, dissertation topic selection, and grant writing (to mention a few). As a reward for having the highest per capita participation out of 70 universities nationwide, the GSA has been awarded a $700 scholarship entitling a Rice GSA chapter representative to attend this year's NAGPS conference in Lincoln, Nebraska.
