New GSA Historian needed

Parents In College organization requests student help
Parents In College, founded by Lorena Lopez, is in need of a team of talented skills to help with the strategic planning involved in launching some of the programs we are trying to offer to our clients. Since they are a grassroots organization, this work will be volunteered, but very rewarding.

GSA forum with President Leebron, 12/01
Mark your calendars: On December 1st, there will be a forum for President Leebron to provide a presentation on the state of the university and answer questions that may be of interest or concern among the graduate student population (including the BCM merger). Windows 7 upgrades for $30 (vs. $120 retail) offered to people (students & faculty) with .edu address! I would like to offer you a chance to try out Windows 7 to see if you are interested in upgrading. I will be conducting my last table-top demos next Friday 11/20 from 1-3 PM.
Language study at Rice
Are you a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese? Is English your second language? If you answered “yes” to both these questions, you could earn $25 by participating in a language learning study through the Rice University Department of Psychology. We are investigating how people learn second languages, which might eventually help with the development of better language-learning programs.
