Career Development and Connecting with Alumni @ GSA Council Meeting

Why you should be there: Want to further your career skills and professional development at Rice? Connect with the Rice alumni network and get an awesome job after graduation? Attend our next GSA Council Meeting to hear directly from the Center for Career Development (CCD) and Association of Rice Alumni (ARA)!

Free dinner is provided to all attendees.

We will be hosting Andrew Tessmer, Assistant Director of the CCD, as well as Mimi Edwards and Javier Garcia, Assistant Directors of the ARA’s Alumni
Programs. Our guests will speak about how you can develop your professional skills outside of lab/class and furthermore, network with Rice alumni all around the world.

This GSA Council Meeting will be held next Tuesday, July 17th at 6pm in Farnsworth Pavilion (RMC). Council Meetings are held monthly and are open to
all graduate students. This year, we are inviting members of the Rice administration to speak on issues of grad student interest, including bike safety, student healthcare, etc. Stay tuned for more!
