Hidden Figures Movie Screening – May 11th

Why you should be there: Celebrate diversity and the strides women of color have made in STEM by attending a screening of “Hidden Figures”, a biographical drama about African American female mathematicians who worked at NASA during the Space Race. The screening will be preceded by a reception at the GSA Captain’s Lounge with snacks and resources for people of color and women in STEM. Everyone is welcome, so come enjoy free food and a great movie Thursday evening before Commencement on Saturday, where Mae Jemison, the first African American woman in space, will be speaking.
